Accurate & current info for players, managers, umpires/referees, officers, & fans.

Many leagues have web sites already, but it is difficult for the administrator to keep up with all the changes that happen during a season (roster moves, game results, statistics, location changes, game time changes). The LeagueCIO web application helps keep the information current, and therefore more useful. Static web sites that get out of date are not much better than nothing at all***. Check out a reference site, cnmsbl.org, or the demo page to see all these features in action.

What your players and managers need:

  • Most important is game schedules and directions. Shown by week or by team. Details... Example
  • Each team has it's own page; schedule, roster, stats, and more. Details... Example
  • Games are set up at the beginning of the season and easily kept current by team managers if game times or locations change (see how).
  • Standings are updated in real-time whenever a manager enters a score. Example

What they want:

  • Boxscores, immediately available after a manager enters the scorebook information. Details... Example
  • Statistics, grouped at conference and team levels. Immediately available after the manager enters the scorebook information. Details... Example
  • Player "cards". Bubble gum not included, but a lot of good stuff is... Example
  • Statistical break outs between "regular season" and "post season". more...
  • History. Old seasons stay online. more...

Other nice features:

  • Our goal is to help your league first. We don't clutter the pages with advertisements so your league's page has a more professional appearance. more...
  • Free advertisements for league members. Show your own banner ads on the site
  • You can still maintain/use any web site you may already have! Embed that site on your LeagueCIO home page.
  • Lots of links to related Internet information: Google Maps/Mapquest, Weather reports, team sites, etc.

*** Not to say League CIO has to completely replace those league "web sites". Many times the administrator enjoys posting info, blogs, reports, and other commentary about the league. At League CIO we will work with the league webadmin to embed that site inside the web application!
